Phase 2 Update: Partner Sites Moving Through Local Review
Award setup is complete. UT Southwestern remains the only production site. The five partner medical schools are in onboarding, each at a different stage of local review, agreement routing, and data-package preparation.

Award setup for the UT-REAL project is complete. UT Southwestern remains the only site with MAPLES in production. The five partner medical schools are in onboarding: local review, agreement routing, data-package preparation, and infrastructure planning, each at a different stage.
As published on Participating Sites:
- UT Health Houston reports local IRB approval. Its research agreement and first retrospective package remain in progress.
- UT San Antonio has local IRB approval and a data-use agreement in place and is preparing its first de-identified package.
- UT Tyler continues local review and agreement routing, building on existing retrospective rubric and transcript work.
- UT Rio Grande Valley has completed site kickoff. Local review and agreement planning continue; a data-use agreement is not yet settled.
- UTMB Galveston has completed site kickoff. Initial rubric work is underway; local review and the first text-based package remain in progress.
No cross-site production host has been selected. This update does not announce a data transfer.
