Project MAPLES Holds All-Site Kickoff
Participating UT medical school partners met to launch the UT REAL-funded MAPLES project and begin phased deployment planning.
On May 4, 2026, the Project MAPLES team convened participating UT medical school partners for the all-site kickoff of the UT REAL Health AI-funded project. The meeting oriented collaborators to the project goals, current MAPLES platform capabilities, phased deployment model, and upcoming site-specific planning process.
The project will now move into site-specific follow-up discussions focused on confirming local point people, identifying each institution’s first likely use case, mapping data and governance readiness, and scheduling the next planning conversations.
This kickoff marks the transition from award setup into coordinated multi-site deployment planning, with each site moving at the pace supported by its local workflows, approvals, and infrastructure.
